Over the past several months there has been a tremendous amount of work to identify the various personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies that the university will need to have available as we start to welcome everyone back to our campuses and mitigate the risk of COVID-19.

A prepaid is an amount paid by the University for a future expense that has been paid in advance. In other words, prepaid expenses are costs that have been paid in one fiscal year (ex., FY21) but the goods or services will not be received until the following fiscal year (ex., FY22).&n
Changes were implemented Thursday evening, May 21, 2020 to the OBI Finance dashboard for the General Ledger Transaction Export process.
The proposal to eliminate function 42-Deans and Provost was discussed at the RC-Strategy Group & the Accounting & Reporting Partner Group.
The upcoming June Business Forum (June 2 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.) has been cancelled. The next Business Forum meeting will be on August 18, 2020 from 10 a.m.
Effective April 8, 2020, Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Life Technologies) will be available in BobcatBUY as an additional preferred supplier of scientific supplies and equipment. The punch-out catalog in BobcatBUY will offer a variety of supplies plus search capabilities and shopping features.
Effective April 6, 2020, Sherwin Williams will be available in BobcatBUY as an additional preferred supplier for interior and exterior paints, coatings in a variety of colors and all related supplies (see list below).
Shred-It will continue to pickup confidential shredding during the COVID-19 period but by appointment only. Normally, Shred-It has scheduled pickup days with most departments. However, due to a large number of offices and buildings being closed or having limited access during this time, Shred-It was often unable to pickup the bins.
