Delivering Care That’s Personal and Proactive
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University Therapy Associates (OUTA), the College of Health Sciences and Professions' clinical outreach program, provides physical therapy, speech and language therapy, and audiology services to patients of all ages.
The Physical Therapy Clinic and the Hearing, Speech, and Language Clinic are based on the first floor of Grover Center on Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University's Athens Campus. OUTA physical therapists also practice through Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University Campus Care, with athletes at Peden Stadium, and under contract at hospitals and schools across Southeastern Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
Services are provided by clinical faculty in the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences, as well as graduate students working under faculty supervision. In this way, the College of Health Sciences and Professions fulfills its mission to bring much-needed care to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's medically underserved populations while giving its students practical experience that prepares them to become competent, compassionate professionals.
