Heritage College graduate and child advocate Tyree Winters, D.O., will be the speaker for the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s 2023 Commencement, set for 10 a.m. May 13 at the Convocation Center in Athens.
All three of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University December graduates who worked at WOUB Public Media while they were in college already have full-time jobs in the media industry.
Approximately 1,000 students joined the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University Alumni family during the Fall 2022 Commencement.
Brittany Arledge, who hails from Albany, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communication from the School of Communication Studies.
Harlan Friedman-Romell is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts Production from the School of Media Arts and Studies. Now, Los Angeles beckons for the Shaker Heights, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, native.
Vanessa Abbitt, a Las Vegas native, is graduating this fall with a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from the School of Visual Communication.Â
Shania Huffman, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in music production from the School of Media Arts and Studies, is preparing for a career in Los Angeles.
Owen Bailey is graduating this fall with a bachelor’s degree in communication from the Information and Telecommunications Systems program at the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies.Â
Approximately 900 students are expected to participate in Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University’s Fall 2022 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Cathy Morris, of Chesapeake, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, is graduating from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ University with an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing, but she’s not stopping yet.
After graduation this fall, Lauren Love hopes to land a job in marketing in the Cleveland area and possibly pursue a career in motorsports.
Karl Wedemeyer plans to put his master’s degree in business administration to work growing White Diamond Farm, his family’s dairy farm in LaRue, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.Â
Andrew Ray graduates this semester with a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Bryan Slaton, originally from Miamisburg, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, graduates this semester with a bachelor’s degree in outdoor education and recreation from the Patton College of Education.
Xiaorui Sun is graduating from the Patton College of Education with her Ph.D. in instructional technology.
