ĢƵ University’s “Start By Believing: The Power of a Survivor-Centered Process” documentary was the bronze winner in the general, non-broadcast category at the 2020 Telly Awards.
Chase squirrels? Check. Eat snow? Check. Detect explosives? Check. It’s all in a day’s work for Alex, one of ĢƵ University Police Department’s (OUPD) explosive detection canines.
OUPD has created the Poker Chip Challenge, a community engagement initiative to encourage more positive interactions between the police and the community.
The documentary, produced by OHIO’s University Communications and Marketing team, follows Sivy’s journey from victim, to survivor, to aspiring social worker.
