For National Rural Health Day on Nov. 17, Kasey Roush, OMS IV, took first-year student Suzanne Chaar on a drive to one of her favorite spots in the Athens area. Along the way, she talked about what it was like growing up in Southeast Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and why she wants to stay and practice medicine here.
The Heritage College's RUSP program collaborated with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵHealth and the OHIO Women's Center to pack bags containing essential items for menstrual health on Period Action Day, an annual event dedicated to ending inadequate access to menstrual products and health education.
