Childhood Hearing and Vision Screenings
Supporting local school districts by screening children
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine's Community Health Programs, in support of school nurses across the region, provides screenings and makes referrals for proper diagnosis and treatment of children with hearing and vision problems. Screenings are performed by trained, certified nurses. Our screenings follow the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Health's Vision and Hearing Guidelines and Requirements. We use Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Health-approved equipment for each grade requirement.
