Peter L. Goss Photograph Collection

Photos captured by alumnus Peter L. Goss (Ph.D. ‘73, Comparative Arts) while attending school at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University from 1966-1970. Features images of student demonstrations, campus visitors, and performances. Off-campus subjects include Athens, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ street photos, local architecture, and community events.

Lynn Johnson Collection

Features the work of photojournalist and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University alumna Lynn Johnson. Includes images from assignments published in LIFE, New York Times, Newsweek, Smithsonian, and Sports Illustrated, as well as Johnson’s on-set and off-set photography with Fred Rogers of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

Lloyd E. Moore Photograph Collection

Photos taken by Lloyd E. Moore (1931–2010), a southeast Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ photographer and lawyer who lived in Ironton for more than thirty years before retiring to Athens. Includes images taken in Lawrence and Athens counties in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, selections from his abstract and vernacular photography, and portraiture.
