Karl started his career in education over 30 years ago with his most notable teaching stop as a Peace Corps volunteer in the rugged mountains of the Philippines. In early 2020 he joined the Academic Achievement Center at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University where his responsibilities focused on student success, academic assistance, academic-skills coaching, and advising at-risk students. Karl holds an MA in English from Fresno State, a BA in English from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ State, and a BA in History from Miami University. He lives in Athens with his wife and daughter.
