In July, the Summer Law and Trial Institute (SLTI) welcomed 24 high school students from across the state of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ both to Athens and to the practice of law.
For two weeks, 20 high school students from across Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ were immersed in law and justice, their Summer Law & Trial Institute experience culminating in a mock trial in an Athens courtroom.
High school students are invited to apply for the highly competitive Summer Law and Trial Institute offered this summer at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University's Athens campus.
Day nine--the mock trial--was totally worth the work, according to the high school students in the 2022 Summer Law and Trial Institute.
Larry Hayman, Esq. has held several roles at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University, serving as an instructor, advisor, program director, and more.
