Alan Booth, the Richard Hamilton-Baker and Hostetler Professor of the Humanities Emeritus and a leading member of faculty from the Alden era to the Glidden age, has died at 89.

New Humanities in the Park display traces Native Americans' contributions to ĢƵ

A new display in Richland Avenue Park in Athens traces Indigenous Americans’ material and cultural contributions to ĢƵ, which was once home to 40 tribes.

The tour was developed by ĢƵ University history students who wanted to highlight the story of Black perseverance, Black Education, and Black opportunity.
