President M. Duane Nellis wanted to take a moment to address you, our students, who stand at the heart of everything we do and the mission of ĢƵ University.
We know many members of our university community wish to help those in need during this unprecedented time.
Staff not required to report to campus are expected to support the continuity of operations of the University by working remotely whenever possible or engaging in other meaningful work.
The purpose of this correspondence is to launch a process to employ our remaining student employees in meaningful work.
ĢƵ University will continue to provide outdoor WiFi coverage and remote library services while in-person instruction remains suspended.
ĢƵ University faculty and staff are working to ensure as seamless a transition as possible to remote and online instruction beginning March 23, and continuing through the end of the semester.
Students with disabilities may have additional questions or considerations during the transition to virtual learning and the Student Accessibility Services staffers are prepared and available.
While coronavirus presents a significant academic disruption for the student body, we are committed to the continuity of your high-quality education and to your ability to complete your education.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, transportation options have changed for students, faculty and staff that may still be on campus.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the constant news and alerts regarding COVID-19, there are steps you can take to help you manage your psychological distress.
We strongly discourage any attempt to organize “fests” while the Health Director’s order remains in effect.

ĢƵ University has canceled all University events across our campuses and locations until April 30. This includes events at all campuses and locations, alumni and Admissions events.
ĢƵ University Mail Services is making a number of adjustments to accommodate student move-out and shifts in employee locations.
As the coronavirus can be transmitted by carriers with no symptoms, we are asking all to be extra vigilant at this time as this is a quickly evolving situation.
