
Reminder: Benefits Open Enrollment, MPI: Benefits Self Service

The 2025-26 annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is currently underway at ĢƵ University.
Open Enrollment is the one time each year ĢƵ University employees can enroll or make changes to their benefits. Otherwise, changes may only be made if a qualifying family status change has occurred. Any enrollment changes made during the enrollment period will be effective July 1, 2025.
My Personal Information (MPI): Benefits Self Service tips
- You may log into throughout the enrollment period, April 15, 2025, through May 7, 2025.
- Changes are saved automatically as you progress through the screens.
- When navigating MPI, use the “Back” and “Next” buttons within the application. Do not use the arrows in the browser.
- Save or print the confirmation statement when you have completed your enrollments. The confirmation statement will be required if there are discrepancies in your elections.
Dependents
- If adding a child, please choose the relationship type “child,” do not choose son or daughter.
- A social security number is required for a new dependent or beneficiary. If you receive a duplicate record error, please email benefits@ohio.edu for assistance. This typically means that the dependent or beneficiary is a current or former ĢƵ University employee or student.
- Those who add a dependent during open enrollment must submit proper documentation (Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, etc.)

All employees are encouraged to access MPI to review their benefit elections and life insurance beneficiaries. If you do not want to make any changes to your health, dental, vision, life, or disability insurance plans you do not need to take any action. However, if you want to participate in a Flexible Spending Account you must log in and make that election each year. All changes are effective July 1, 2025.
