Whether you are staying on campus, heading home or traveling abroad this summer, ĢƵ University Libraries has OHIO’s current faculty, staff and students covered with an incredible selection of streaming films and music.
And best of all, there’s no need to be on campus to enjoy these collections — all that’s needed is an OHIO login. From classic films to theater performances, documentaries and a rich selection of classical, jazz and world music, there’s something for everyone.
University Libraries has access to thousands of films via its streaming services from a variety of well-known distributors. Below is a list of currently available online platforms.
**Access to streaming services is limited to current OHIO faculty, staff and students.
- – A comprehensive collection of high-quality videos with over a 1,000 PBS programs including: “Finding Your Roots,” “Secrets of the Dead,” “Wolf Hall” and “Tom Jones.”
- – Delivers the widest range of subject areas with a curricular relevance and over 400 Sony Classic Pictures are available to stream.
- – Offers quality videos of full-length performances by some of today's most thought-provoking artists in contemporary dance, theatre and music.
- – A complete digital library of some of the most critically acclaimed streamed plays, including many Shakespearean plays.
- – A collection of curated educational, documentary, independent and art house films, including select films from the Criterion collection.
- – A video service providing access to a curated collection of select films including many popular movies, critically acclaimed films, and insightful documentaries.
- – Streaming music, primarily Western classical and some world music.
- – Full recordings of streaming jazz music.
