Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University students are invited to register for the OHIO Student Expo, which will be held April 8 in the Walter Fieldhouse. 

Students can win cash prizes at the annual event that highlights student research, scholarship and creative works.

Undergraduate and graduate students present their work during the OHIO Student Expo to judges and members of the OHIO community. All students, faculty, staff and area residents are invited to attend and view the projects that will be on display showcasing the outstanding work of OHIO students.

OHIO Student Expo details

Individuals and group presentations that are judged at the OHIO Student Expo will be eligible to win monetary awards.

Regular session awards

Judges will award a First Place Prize ($150) and a Second Place Prize ($75) or two joint First Place Prizes ($112.50 each) to one undergraduate and one graduate student in each regular session. The number of regular sessions will be determined by the number of participants. Regular sessions will consist of 6-10 students per session and may vary by department/college.  

Presentations

Presentations of up to 10 minutes will be judged based on the presentation of the work. Presenters should clearly state:

• What did they did/are they doing?
• Why do it? What is the need/context to other work in the field?
• How did/will they do it? What methods will/did they use?
• How will their work further knowledge in the field/benefit or impact society?

Institute to Advance Health Equity (ADVANCE) Special Session:
