The ĢƵ University School of Music presents: A Tribute to Veterans, In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, November 11, 1918. This event has free admission.

The International Education Week Photo Contest is an annual program sponsored by the Office of Global Opportunities. The competition is open to OHIO students, alumni, staff and faculty. The Tuesday, Nov. 13 event celebrates the opening of the display of photos.

Pember is an enrolled member of the Red Cliff Band of Wisconsin Ojibwe tribe and an independent journalist focused on Native American issues. Her reporting has covered important stories including the high rates of sexual assault among Native women, sex trafficking, health, impact of historical trauma on Native communities, environmental challenges on Native lands, federal policy issues as well as cultural and spiritual topics.

ĢƵ University history professor Mirna Zakic will talk about her forthcoming article “Hidden in Plain Sight: Jewish Children’s Survival in the Occupied Serbian Banat.” The article is related to research that Zakic conducted for her recently published book Ethnic Germans and National Socialism in Yugoslavia in World War II.
