The Economics Seminar series presents Dr. Thomas Ruchti on Friday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. in Bentley Annex 302. Ruchti is Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

The ĢƵ University Lectures in the History and Philosophy of Science series presents Dr. Colin Allen on “Suffering: A Neurofunctional Account.” Allen is Distinguished Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Heritage College Office of Research and Grants will be hosting a brown bag lunch session about research opportunities for summer between Years 1 and 2.
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Christ Community Wesleyan Church, 6275 Kenney Memorial Lane, Albany, OH 45710
Breast and cervical cancer screenings, breast health education and navigation will be provided by the ĢƵ University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Community Health Program. In collaboration with ĢƵHealth Mobile Mammography same-day mammograms will be provided to uninsured, underinsured and insured women. Appointments are required.

The goal of the active shooter preparedness training is to encourage and promote discussion and to help participants be more prepared should an active shooter incident occur. The George Washington Forum at ĢƵ University presents Ross Douthat of The New York Times on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Galbreath Chapel. He has written a twice-weekly opinion column for The New York Times since 2009.
