As the sweet scents of summer begin to fade and the crisp fall air takes hold, ĢƵ University students, faculty and staff return to OHIO’s campuses to refocus on their academic and personal goals—and the grit it will take to achieve them.
The summer issue of ĢƵ Today, arriving in mailboxes and inboxes soon, is all about grit. “Grit” perfectly sums up the Bobcat spirit: We’re a cohort that works hard, even when faced with challenges; we celebrate our wins; we make mistakes, fix them by “making it right,” then learn from them; and we act with persistence toward a common goal while at the same time lending a helping hand when it’s needed most.
The cover of ĢƵ Today’s summer issue, themed “Grit,” features Amy Meeks, BSJ ’13, MA ’16.
