Opening reception for art works of emeritus professor Ron Kroutel is Friday, Jan. 19

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University Kennedy Museum of Art will host the exhibit, '50-Year Journey: Ron Kroutel Paintings,' from Jan. 20 to March 25.
On Friday, Jan. 19, a Walk and Talk with artist Ron Kroutel and guest curator Rajko Grlić will take place from 5:15 to 6 p.m. followed by an opening reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
The retrospective exhibition features 36 works spanning the career of Ron Kroutel, Emeritus Professor of Art at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University's School of Art + Design.
These works trace the artist's personal journey of self discovery and sense of place after coming to Athens to live and work in 1966. It is also a personal tribute by his friend, acclaimed filmmaker and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Eminent Professor of Film Rajko Grlić, who organized this exhibition.
