Kelly Czack

As an Academic Advisor and a proud part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University alumni, Kelly Czack considers Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University as the key to reaching her goals. As a first-generation student, Kelly was challenged along the way and questioned her education path many times. If not for the compassionate guidance and grace given by the many faculty-angels along the way, she is certain her education would have been derailed. As a 3-time graduate of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University, she is proud to say that her love of her alma mater spread to her daughter Maggie, and many friends and family members who’ve since graduated from our beloved OHIO. Remembering her success and the support she was given through her journey, is why she is an advisor today!
In her 34-year career she has had the good fortune of working in various capacities at Central Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Technical College/Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ State Newark Campus, The University of Akron, Cuyahoga Community College, and since 2007, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University. In her current position as an Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Honors Program honors advisor, she loves assisting her students and she is proud to work with the incredible people that make up the Honors Tutorial College!
She calls Athens, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ her home, although she was born and raised in Parma Hts., a small suburb of Cleveland. She holds a special place in her heart for her hometown and all things Cleveland sports! At one point in life, she took on the responsibility of City Councilwoman for Parma Hts.; a chance to give back to the place that raised her. She continues to find joy in service and volunteering, because she feels contribution beyond ourselves keeps our lives in check. She has a daughter and daughter-in-law that she adores, and soon they will be welcoming their first child, and her first grandchild! The love of family and friends sustains her, and she feels grateful for such a beautiful life, with so much to look forward to.
