Justin Shumate
Justin Shumate was born and raised in Athens, OH. He worked as a student worker at OHIO University at the Tech Depot and a short time with Moving and Surplus. Justin graduated OHIO University with an ITS degree in 2019. Justin is the 17th person in his family to graduate from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University. He also worked as a supply chain manager at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Health then went to be a Systems Engineer II for a data security company in Columbus where he built, repaired, and installed Servers. He joined OHIO University on December of 2022 as a Logistics Analyst II and took on the role of Business Manager within the OHIO BSC on September 2023. He looks forward to seeing how he can make Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University a better place.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs. He also enjoys working on anything that involves a motor and about anything pertaining to the outdoors. His recent obsession is going on hikes with his Remote-controlled Rock Crawler.
