Dr. Christy Lyons earned her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University. Before teaching at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ University, she was a tenure-track professor at Loyola University New Orleans and then at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, from where she retired as a full professor after nearly twenty years. Dr. Lyons teaches general counseling courses, supervises both master’s and doctoral level practicum, and teaches the doctoral level course, Publications in Counselor Education.
